Community Involvement through the Outreach Programme
The Community Outreach Programme at Holy Rosary School forms an integral part of the life of the school. We believe that by making a meaningful difference to the lives of others, your child will cultivate a social conscience and develop into a young woman with compassion, humility and responsibility.

High School Community Involvement
Our high school girls are encouraged to be involved in some form of community service. Most of our Grade 9's join the Debutantes Programme. Besides raising money which is used for outreach projects, Debutantes must do community service. However, many of our girls are involved in community service throughout their high school years. Although the girls may choose their own form of community service, over the years many of them have worked to assist Little Eden, St Anne's Residence and St Francis Aids Home. We also have many special collections such as our recent Pet Food Project for Animal Welfare.
Outreach Work in Limpopo Province

Holy Rosary School in Malamulele is a primary school started by the Holy Rosary Sisters in 2000 at the request of the Bishop of Tzaneen. Over the years our school has worked closely with this very special school. Each year some of the money raised by our Debutantes has been used to assist with the building of class rooms and other facilities.
Due to the enthusiasm of our primary school staff, THRASS is now being successfully taught at Holy Rosary Malamulele. (See THRASS Newsboard)
Each year a group of matrics, accompanied by Mrs Lucas, our high school principal and other members of staff, travel to Malamulele for a working visit. Their aim is to improve the facilities at the crèches started by the Holy Rosary Sisters as well as fostering closer ties with our 'sister school'.
Alexandra Matric Tutoring Programme
Each Saturday Grade 12 pupils from Alexandra attend lessons taught by matric teachers at Holy Rosary. Periodically our girls meet with these young people to share experiences and dreams. This programme is funded by money raised by the Debutantes.
