The Ethos of Holy Rosary School
The ethos of our school is founded on Christian principles where tolerance and respect for others is paramount. We strive to ensure that our school is a sanctuary for your child. It must be a place of joy and safety, where she is affirmed and valued equally and where she can grow and mature to her full God given potential.

Pastoral Care at Holy Rosary embraces and encompasses the totality of school life: religious, academic, social and physical. Every member of staff plays a crucial role in the school’s formal Pastoral Care and Ethos programme. They ensure that each girl is treated with respect and dignity. They strive to develop self-discipline in each pupil and this is achieved by maintaining a sense of order, structure and routine in a very demanding and busy school environment
We maintain a close, dynamic and reciprocal relationship with the parents of our girls. Together it is our privilege and responsibility to ensure that your child experiences and receives excellent teaching and learning. Our pupils are guided and nurtured to become young women of courage, commitment and moral integrity.
Holy Rosary School’s Outreach programme is well established and it provides practical support for numerous charities. Our Shanahan Co-Workers, a group of volunteer Grade 6 and Grade 7 pupils, together with parents who serve on our Angel Network, work collaboratively to help charities and the needy members of our local community. In the high school our girls have many opportunities to be involved in our extensive outreach programme. (See the High School Debutantes and Outreach Programme).
