A warm welcome to Holy Rosary Primary School

“…Freedom cannot be achieved unless the women have been emancipated from all forms of oppression.”

(Nelson Mandela)

Isilda de OliveiraAt Holy Rosary we believe that a quality education is the key necessary to achieve such freedom and pave the way for our girls to fulfill their dreams and realise their potential.  Education at Holy Rosary is founded on sound Catholic gospel values thereby integrating intellectual development with emotional, spiritual and moral development.

Every girl entering the gates of our school is respected and accepted for the individual that she is and is seen as a valuable member of our family, enriching it with her special gifts and talents.  Every educator at this school is passionate about education and strives towards equipping our girls with the knowledge and skills necessary to participate actively in society and to enhance their self esteem.  The staff, therefore, consistently seeks to keep abreast of changes in education and developments in technology so as to best prepare our girls to face the challenges of today’s world and prevent a life of missed opportunities.

Together, both the staff and the girls strive to reach out to the community and form strong inter-personal relationships with diverse cultural groups through various academic, sporting, cultural and pastoral care activities.

We aim to empower our girls in order for them to be able to participate fully in our country’s social, economic and political decision making as they journey from childhood to adolescence and into adulthood.

May our girls’ journeys be filled with laughter, adventure, discovery and dreams fulfilled.
