Application Process

Grade 1-10

If you would like to enroll your daughter at Holy Rosary School, please follow the following process:

1. Complete the Application Form and attach a recent photograph of your daughter, a copy of her birth certificate and in the case of Grade 1 – 10: a copy of her most recent report.
2. The Application Form, together with a non-refundable application fee of R250.00, should then be handed in at the school or mailed with a copy of the proof of payment. (Banking details are available on the application form). Please note that filling in the application form does not automatically guarantee your daughter’s acceptance.
3. Once Holy Rosary has the above, you will be contacted to arrange for an assessment, appropriate to the proposed grade and term she is currently in. Should the assessment results be satisfactory, you will be invited for an interview with the Head of the Primary or High school. 
4. Upon acceptance, the registration forms will need to be completed, a credit check will be done by the school, and a re-fundable deposit of R7500 will be required. (The deposit will be refunded when your daughter leaves the school, as long as she has been at the school for a full academic year).

Grade R

In the case of Grade R , you are required to fill in the Application Form , attach a recent photograph of your daughter, a copy of her birth certificate, and hand  this in at the school (or mail as per above), with a non-refundable Application Fee of R250. Your daughter’s name will then go onto the Grade R list for the appropriate year.

At the beginning of the year prior to the year that she would be starting Grade R, the Primary School Secretary will contact you regarding Open Day, your daughter’s assessment, Parent’s Information Session and Interview date.

Grade 8

As per the general application process,  you are required to fill in the Application Form , attach a recent photograph of your daughter,  copy of her birth certificate, copy of her most recent report, and hand this in at the school (or mail as per above),  with a non-refundable Application Fee of R250. Your daughter’s name will then go onto the Grade 8 list for the appropriate year.

At the beginning of the year prior to the year that she would be starting Grade 8, you will be contacted regarding Open Day and date of Grade 8 assessments. Information will be available regarding Scholarships and Bursaries.
