Physical Education in the High School
Holy Rosary encourages team spirit and school pride in their sports programme. We strive to foster physical fitness and well-being. Sport is an import
ant part of the school’s all-encompassing and balanced education which develops body, soul and mind. Our high school girls are encouraged to participate in at least one sport per season. Our girls hold national and provincial colours in several sports.

Sporting Achievements
Swimming
The Holy Rosary A-Team takes part in the Premier League and our B-Team takes part in the A-League. Our girls also participate in the Midmar Swim and are currently ranked 3rd out of all girls' schools in South Africa!

Athletics
During the 1st Term we compete in the Government Schools' League and in the 3rd Term we compete in the Private Schools' League. We also take part in the Top 10 Schools (Naboomspruit) and we are currently ranked 22nd out of 40 top schools.
Rowing
Holy Rosary School’s rowers are the 2008 Gauteng Championship winners and the 2009 South African Championship runners-up.
Hockey
We take part in the Eastern Gauteng Government Schools' League and currently have 16 girls holding Provincial Colours. In 2008 the Holy Rosary 1st team was the North Vaal Trophy winner. In 2009 our 1st team won the Eastern Gauteng league.
Netball
Our Under 15 players reach play offs.
Tennis
Our girls reached the Inter High semi-finals and 4 of our girls have Provincial Colours for Eastern Gauteng.
